What this covers
What we do with your information when you book a pitch through this website.
What we collect
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you give it
- How many adults and children are staying
- Your arrival and departure dates
Our payment provider, Stripe, collects your card details. We never see them and they are never stored on this website.
Why we need it
- To give you the pitch you booked — we cannot hold a booking without knowing who it is for.
- To email your confirmation and contact you if something changes.
- To keep our accounts, which Irish tax law requires.
Who sees it
- Stripe, who process the card payment
- Resend, who deliver our confirmation emails
- Cloudflare, who host this site and the booking records, in Western Europe
- The developer who maintains the booking system for us, under a written agreement
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
How long we keep it
- Name, email and phone: removed automatically two years after you leave. Ask us and we will remove them sooner.
- The financial record — dates, amounts, VAT — for six years, because Revenue require it. Once contact details are removed it no longer identifies you.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct anything wrong, delete your details once your stay has finished, provide your information in a portable form, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month, free of charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
